Getting started on your carbon offset journey with Friends of the Forest is easy
1. Fund initial tree planting
You pre-purchase a specified amount of CO2e at a fixed price per ton. The proceeds fund tree planting in a tropical forest concession in IndonesiaAt least 90% of your funding will go to the concession and be spent directly on tree planting
2. Receive pre-purchased credits
Over the next 5 years, the trees planted with your funding, maintained by the concession and monitored by us, will be generating your Gold Standard-certified carbon credits.100% of carbon credits generated by these trees will go back to you, so you can offset your emissions
3. Priority access to credits after
After the trees planted with your funding have delivered all your pre-purchased carbon credits, they will continue to grow and generated more carbon credits.As a tree planter, you will always be first in line to purchase further carbon credits from these trees
